Announcements:

Thanks to everyone who helped get our new hymnals ready for us to use in worship. The old hymnals are on tables in the church entry. They are arranged alphabetically by the last name of the donor. Please take hymnals that were donated by you or your family. We have many hymnals that don't have a donor bookplate it them. Please take one of those if you would like to have a hymnal to keep.

Rainbow Run (Color Run): It is time to start planning our second annual "Rainbow Run"! Adults wishing to help our LYO with this event, please sign up on Loree's office door, email or call the church. We will want a committee of people interested in planning the run. This was a big fundraiser and will take the place of our annual rummage sale. Please consider being a part of the committee. The committee, or anyone wanting more information, will meet February 21, 2016 at 5pm in the church fellowship hall. We will decide if we have enough help and are interested in pursuing this event. Hope to see you there!

The spring supper is coming soon - March 6th.  Many will be asked to bake, serve or work in many different areas and jobs. Sign-up sheets are out and we need a lot of help.  Please sign up for the job you feel most comfortable with and/or contribute the food items needed.  You will find sign-up sheets for dishwashers, dish scrapers, potato peelers, roasting turkey, silverware wrappers, potatoes, clean-up and making desserts.  Most chairmen are already working.

We are asking people to sign up to bake their favorite 9x13 Apple Crunch dessert; there is a recipe attached to the signup sheet if you wish to use it. We are asking all members who do not bake a dessert, to donate $10.00 towards the food expenses. (This also includes those who donated for coleslaw in the past. The $10 will be used for coleslaw and other food expenses.) Please give your $10 donations to Tara Cooper or Nicole Folden, or send them to the church.

Ticket prices are the same this year: adults $12.00, students $5.00, children 5 and under are free.  Raffle ticket prices also remain the same: $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00.  For those who always purchase several books, the price is still $10.00 per book.

Items donated for the raffle include a Quilt, Jewelry, Table Runner, Baby Blanket, Décor, baby slippers, Myer's Meats products and other nice items. Thank you very much everyone for your donations. More items may be donated up until the raffle at the church supper.

Raffle tickets are being distributed; turn in the stubs and money to Laura Bright.  When you need more tickets, call Laura at 440-665-3145.

Nicole Folden & Tara Cooper co-chairman of Spring Supper
