Pastor Renee Splical Larson has written a book about her experiences in Haiti.

St. Paul's 7th-8th grade LYO are interested in helping the ELCA Malaria Campaign by collecting donations for mosquitoes. This morning we have a mosquito net put up with mosquitoes on it. We are asking for a donation of $1 for each mosquito you take from our net. We are hoping to get rid of every mosquito today. Please put your donation in the basket and take some mosquitoes. We want to have a part in protecting people from Malaria.

The new sanctuary lights have arrived and we hope to have them installed soon. We are still in need of donations to pay for the lights. If you would like to make a donation for the lights,  please mark your donation "Light Fund" or you can use our regular offering envelopes and mark the envelope for the "Building Fund." Thanks.

May is “Mother the Camp” month. A table is set up in the narthex to receive donations. A list of needed items is also by the table. A wide variety of things are needed. If you are unable to go shopping for them, a box is on the table to deposit checks and cash, allowing the camp to purchase items most needed.

The Camp of the Cross Prairie Lake Festival will be Saturday, June 18th at the Garrison High School Gymnasium. Viewing of quilts and auction items will be from 8:00 am - 10:00 am, with the auction beginning at 10:30 am.

All donated items are due to the Camp Office by June 1st.

Sometimes people say that they have more quilts than they know what to do with, so new to the Prairie Lake Festival this year is an opportunity to give a      DOUBLE donation. There will be 3 tables with quilts that can be purchased for $50, $75 or $100 and then those quilts will be donated to the buyer's choice of Domestic Violence Center, Youth Correctional Center, LSS or will be given to a CCM Summer Staffer at the end of the summer. CCM gets the $$$ donation and the quilts are donated in your name for a wonderful cause!

Different this year: All baskets will be on the Silent Auction so people have the opportunity to see what is there.

The Silent Auction will remain open after the Live Auction so bidders have a chance to get something if they didn't get what they wanted in the Live Auction.

Because we will need more room for the Silent Auction we will only accept Vendors who donate at least 75% of their sales back to CCM.

Free Bingo cards on your booklet with a chance to win CCM merchandise.

There will be a "Scrap" collection box - maybe someone will offer to use them to make something for next year's auction.

We hope to see you on Saturday, June 18th at the Prairie Lake Festival!
