Heart River Lutheran Church is a congregation that has worship every Sunday at the North Dakota Youth Correctional Center in Mandan. They have a program called "Bridges of Hope" that is working to care for the spiritual needs of the young people who have "graduated" from the Youth Correctional Center. St. Paul's has some direct ties to this program. Renee Splichal Larson is the pastor at Heart River Lutheran Church and Shera Nesheim directs the Bridges of Hope program. She is the granddaughter of Reuben and Wanyce Arndt. Shera Nesheim is going to be at our worship next Sunday, November 23rd to talk again about this program. We are also going to take a special offering that Sunday during worship and one Sunday in December to help with Heart River Bridges of Hope. Your donations will help support this important ministry.

Dickens Booth:  Once again we need a lot of people to do our baking and candy making for the second weekend when we have a booth at the English Market.  Sign-up sheets are posted on the office window.  Please sign up as soon as possible so that we know we will have enough of everything for each day, and get an idea of the variety that will be available.  The price suggestion sheet is also posted to give you an idea for packaging.  Please follow the guideline, it will be much easier to price items.  Remember to use clear packaging so the item and prices can be seen better.
