Dickens Booth:  Once again we need a lot of people to do our baking and candy making for the second weekend when we have a booth at the English Market.  Sign-up sheets are posted on the office window.  Please sign up as soon as possible so that we know we will have enough of everything for each day, and get an idea of the variety that will be available. Remember to use clear packaging so the item and prices can be seen better.

As part of St. Paulís partnership with Heart River Lutheran Church, which is located on the campus of the ND Youth Correctional Center, the Social Action Committee has decided to work to provide some "Fresh Start" packs.  These are backpacks filled with items that young people moving back into everyday life may need. The committee is suggesting that a group of St. Paul friends work together to buy the items. We have the backpacks and the Bibles that will go into the pack. They are on a table in the church entry. You and your partners would buy the remaining items. The items that go into each pack are listed on a bookmark on the same table. If you are interested and have found some partners to work with, please pick up a backpack and sign up your group on the sheet on the pastorís office door. Please have the backpacks back to church by the end of the year.
