A new Bible Study will start on Feb. 24 at 10 am, called "The God We Can Know", by Rob Fuquay. There is a signup sheet on Loree's office door for those of you wanting a book, please let us know by Feb. 8. The study explores the "I Am" sayings of Jesus, and takes us on a journey through the Holy Land. A great study for Lent! More information is also on Loree's office door. All are welcome!

Anne & Willie Langdjis, the missionaries we support, have sent a newsletter of events going on in Western Africa. It is pinned to the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall. Stop and see what is going on with the Langdjis.

The Church Youth are serving a Soup, Sandwich and Salad Lunch after worship on Sunday, February 15th. It is our way of celebrating Mardi Gras as we get ready for Lent which begins on Ash Wednesday, February 18th. There will be several varieties of soups, sandwiches and salads to choose from. We will serve past noon for families with children in Sunday School. A free will offering will be received which will be used for the LYO New York City Service/Mission Trip this summer . Everyone is invited.

We would like to draw your attention to an electronic option for making regular offerings. Contributions can be debited automatically from your checking or savings account. The program is called "Simply Giving."  This electronic giving program offers convenience for you and donation consistency for our congregation. We have several members who are currently using "Simply Giving" for their regular church offering.

If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes. And, when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending worship, this program will allow your weekly offerings to continue on an uninterrupted basis.

If you are interested in giving church offering through the "Simply Giving" program, an authorization form is available on the table in the church entry. Fill out the form and return it to the church office. The church will process all authorization forms. If you have any questions, please talk to Pastor Hendrickson.

We have received a new order of Fair Trade chocolate and it is for sale along with Fair Trade almonds and coffee. There is a special box of Valentine chocolate for sale. There is a cart in the Fellowship Hall with those items. If you would like to purchase items, leave your money on the cart or talk to Pastor Hendrickson.
