Again this year, during September and October, we are going to take a special offering to support the ministries of our companion synod, the Central African Republic (C.A.R.). Everyone can participate in the "Sweet Deal for C.A.R" by taking tubes of M&M Minis, sharing the sweets, then refilling the tubes with quarters. Each tube holds about $14. M&M tubes are on the table in the church entry. Please take a tube of M&M's and fill it with quarters. Return the quarters to the church by Reformation Sunday (October 26)  and we’ll send the donations to our Synod and from there our donations will be used for the sake of ministry in Christ’s name among our brothers and sisters in the C.A.R.

We are celebrating Harvest Sunday next  Sunday, October 5th. Amy Hansen will be our guest speaker. She is going to talk about a trip she took to the Cameroon with a group from our Synod. We will have Harvest Decorations throughout the church. We are also going to have a Bake Sale and Produce Sale as a fundraiser for  the Central African Republic. Please bring baked goods and produce to the church that Sunday morning and there will be a free will offering basket that will go to support World Hunger. Plan to join us to welcome Amy Hansen and to give thanks to God on Harvest Sunday during worship on October 5th.
